Consumer Mediation

1.Prior amicable settlement

In the event of a dispute relating to the service, the user is invited to contact the publisher as a first step in seeking an amicable solution, at info@pacte-coloc.be. The publisher undertakes to respond within a reasonable time and to propose a solution suited to the circumstances.

2.Consumer Mediation Service

If no amicable resolution is reached within a reasonable time, the consumer user may refer the matter to the Consumer Mediation Service, the Belgian federal public authority competent to hear consumer disputes between a consumer and a seller established in Belgium.

Referring a matter to the Mediation Service is free of charge for the consumer and does not prevent legal proceedings from being brought at a later stage.

3.Cross-border disputes

For any cross-border dispute within the European Union, the user may contact the European Consumer Centre Belgium, which offers free assistance for disputes involving a professional established in another Member State.

In the event of any discrepancy between the language versions, the French version shall prevail.
